Please use this form to submit
your request for assistance with a medical project in Nepal.
For a copy of this form as a Microsoft Word document
to submit by post, please see
Project Request Form.
Note that there are three categories of project requests: Bulletin Board
Requests, Fund Raising Projects and Funded Projects. You may submit your
project request in one, two or all three of these categories.
Bulletin Board Requests
- are not reviewed by ANMF
- are generally not considered for funding by ANMF (unless also submitted as Funded Project proposals)
- are posted immediately to the Bulletin Board
- are fulfilled by donors who contact the requester directly and make arrangements for any transaction
- are removed after one year on the Bulletin Board, unless specifically renewed by the requester
- are removed from the Bulletin Board if adopted by ANMF as a Funded Project
If your Bulletin Board Request is fulfilled, even partially, we ask that you inform us so we
can update the Bulletin Board.
Fund Raising Projects
- are reviewed by ANMF/Nepal as they are received
- are generally not considered for funding by ANMF (unless also
submitted as Funded Project proposals)
- if approved by ANMF/Nepal, are
reviewed by ANMF/America Projects Committee
- if approved by ANMF/America
Projects Committee, are promoted by ANMF in its outreach
and fund raising efforts
All Fund Raising Project proposals are reviewed and evaluated first by
medical workers in Nepal. Those that are approved are then sent on to
the Projects Committee of ANMF in America for further review. While ANMF would like to fund all projects submitted to it, a
limited budget forces us to choose those where we feel we can have the
best impact on medical conditions in Nepal. Fund Raising Projects allow
us to promote worthy projects and appeal directly to the public for targeted donations on a timely basis, whereas a Funded Project is funded only after
the completion of a competitive annual review process and subject to
budget constraints. Applicants may
submit a project simultaneously as a Fund Raising Project and as a
Funded Project.
Funded Projects
- are reviewed by ANMF/Nepal
- if approved by ANMF/Nepal, are
reviewed by ANMF/America Projects Committee
- if approved by ANMF/America
Projects Committee, projects exceeding $500 are reviewed by ANMF/America
Board of Directors
- if approved by ANMF/America Board of
Directors (or projects under $500 approved by Projects Committee), are funded by
ANMF (for more information about the types of projects ANMF is looking to fund,
please see Project Proposal Guidelines)
- are of three types:
-
Time-Critical Projects
do not wait for
the annual review and funding process. ANMF reserves funds to meet small,
time-critical projects on an as-needed basis throughout the year. ANMF will
strive to process them as quickly as possible.
ANMF has a limited budget for time-critical projects.
- Normal Projects will be funded annually on a competitive basis.
See the timeline for Normal Project proposals.
-
Development Projects have a scope beyond ANMF's normal budget and
require special resource development efforts. Even if you have a project
that appears to be much larger than what we normally support, let us know what
you need and we will see what we can do. ANMF will process Development
Project applications as they are received.
All Funded Project proposals are reviewed and evaluated first by
medical workers in Nepal. They are there prioritized and then sent on to
the Projects Committee of ANMF in America for further review for
funding. While ANMF would like to fund all projects submitted to it, a
limited budget forces us to choose those where we feel we can have the
best impact on medical conditions in Nepal. Applicants may submit a
project simultaneously as a Fund Raising Project and as a Funded
Project. We thank you in advance for
your proposal.

is looking to fund, please see Project Proposal
Guidelines. For more information about deadlines and the timeline
for approving Normal Projects, please see
Project Proposal Deadlines. Please use additional sheets of paper if
needed. Please read Project Proposal Instructions before proceeding.
