Roshan Shrestha is Medical Director of Liver Transplantation, Piedmont Liver Transplant Program, Atlanta, Georgia. He was previously Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of Liver Transplantation at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill. He has published numerous articles and abstracts in professional journals as well as book chapters. He has editorial appointments for professional associations, is a reviewer for professional journals, and is a frequent presenter at professional conferences. He has extensive experience in grants management and implementation including grants from the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Shrestha coordinates the ANMF continuing medical education programs in various filed of medicine in Nepal. He is coordinating CME in Gastroenterology and Hepatology during the fall of 2004 in collaboration with Society of Internal Medicine of Nepal (SIMON).
