Tenth Annual Conference 2006 - Newark, New Jersey

The Board of America Nepal Medical Foundation thanks all participants of the Tenth Annual Conference in Newark, New Jersey, held on June 16^th, 17^th & 18^th, 2006. We would like to thank all the speakers for taking their time to deliver their thoughts to uplift health care in Nepal. Special thanks to Dr. John Allegrante, keynote speaker, and the Honorable Permanent Representative to UN for Nepal, Mr. Madhur Raman Acharya. Dr. Mark Zimmerman gave an excellent presentation on his work for NSI Foundation's project in training rural healthcare workers in Nepal. We had a great opportunity to learn about the current situation and need in Nepal through the debate and panel discussions. The annual board meeting and general meeting were very productive to further ANMF's activity in the coming year.
