ANMF’S Chicago Convention

CME 1999

  • ANMF, ACCP and SIMON’s joint venture

ANMF Membership Drive

  • Great addition to ANMF Executive: Julia Shepardson
  • Database of over 250 ANMF members and friends
  • About 10-15% of mailing and 20% of email addresses needed updating

  • if new journals not available - collect from individuals
  • books / journals with donor’s identity
  • establish computer terminals

Individual Member’s Works

  • support for students in Nepal - Richard Katzman, MD
  • Kathmandu University Medical School project curriculum help
  • helped to facilitate the visit of nursing staffs from Nepal who are here for ICU training

ANMF beyond 2000

  • start to seek for funding for different projects- shipping
    • electronic media
    • CME
  • website publishing plus mailing / emailing information to all members at a regular basis
  • participation in public health activities?
  • more active involvement in training?
