Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for
Disabled Children (HRDC)
has been providing treatment and rehabilitation services to children with
disability since 1985. HRDC was established in 1992 as a program of the Friends
of the Disabled, a Nepali non-profit, non-governmental organization. It has
completed over 115,000 treatments to date and has provided services in Kaski,
Syangja, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur Districts. HRDC is a leading referral centre in
the country for the functional mobility of physically disabled children. It is
also a training centre of Kathmandu University for the Post Graduate Training
Programme in Orthopedic Surgery.
